Christmas party on the 2nd of December 2021
The Christmas party was planned with some preparation. The closer it got to 02.12.2021, the more it became clear that the day could not take place as the planned bowling event at the Wolfsburg “Strike”. However, a cancellation was out of the question and so the bowling event became an online quiz evening.
The Christmas party was planned with some preparation. The closer it got to 02.12.2021, the more it became clear that the day could not take place as the planned bowling event at the Wolfsburg “Strike”. However, a cancellation was out of the question and so the bowling event became an online quiz evening.
Around 6 pm, all participants met online to start the evening with a joint dinner. This was followed seamlessly by the quiz, in which the individual teams competed against each other. A total of ten teams from various parts of Germany were involved in the quiz. In addition to the categories globetrotter, music or general knowledge, there were four other categories in which their knowledge was tested. Each category consisted of five questions, with one point awarded for each question. Therefore, a total of 35 points could be scored. During the entire course of the game, there was a close race between the team “Fallersleben” and the team “Rabenberg”, who were able to defend their lead until the last round. In the last round, team “Fallersleben” deservedly took the lead by two points and secured the victory with a total of 18 points. From the very beginning, the quiz was not just about glory, but about a main prize that was kept secret until the very end. Now it was time to reveal the secret. And the main prize was….a trophy for the team that won first place and the creation of their own quiz for the next quiz night! Makes you feel a bit relieved as a runner-up, but a close second.
Throughout the evening, the atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful. There was a lot of talking, laughing and playing trivia.
Even though the originally planned bowling event could not take place and it would have been easy to cancel the evening, the organisers decided against it and put together a worthy, fun alternative. Thus, despite the Corona pandemic, the team spirit could be strengthened in a playful and friendly atmosphere.
