From a software development company to an established consulting firm for leading global companies. Since its founding year in 1998, brox has steadily evolved and entered new fields. We want to share our success story with you on this page.
brox IT-Solutions GmbH is founded on 26.11.1998 in Dresden as a software development company and is mainly active in the field of data management.
At the turn of the millennium, brox develops the AnyFinder tool. This tool is used for semantic company searches and is introduced by Volkswagen as a corporate solution in 2005.
In addition to software development, brox is expanding its business activities to include consulting. Thereby it is active in the areas of IT security and IT maturity development.
The development division of brox is spun off as a subsidiary. It now operates independently as eccenca GmbH.
The in-house development of the “modular service kit” makes it possible to expand the consulting services offered by brox. The service portfolio grows to include the area of IT Sourcing Management.
On its 20th anniversary, brox further expands its consulting portfolio and adds the area of IT Architecture & Infrastructure. As a result, the key account Porsche is acquired and a new location is established in Stuttgart.
brox’s consulting business is consolidated into the areas of IT Sourcing Management, Information Management, IT Architecture & Infrastructure and IT Lifecycle Management. The new structure allows us to provide our customers with much more focused consulting services. This focus also makes it possible to increase the depth of consulting within the individual areas.
The key account Brose Sitech is acquired. Since then, there is an excellent cooperation with Brose Sitech and brox can further expand its activities in the area of IT Architecture & Infrastructure.
The brox has turned 25 years old.
